While i've been gone...

First of all apologies for not blogging for nearly two months! Started feeling a little disheartened with the jewellery in my Folksy shop so felt like trying something a bit different. I then discovered wire! I've currently only got three (ones above) copper wire items for sale but plan to add plenty more pieces over the coming weeks. Happy Easter!

Spent some time today making (and eating) gorgeous crispy cakes which made me feel in the Easter mood. I really shouldn't buy mini eggs, one definately leads to another! Thought i'd share some Easter pictures, lambs, crocuses and mini eggs, what more could you want at this time of year?

Here are two new photos which I've recently taken of two of my Folksy items currently for sale. I've always used silver and gold plated chains and findings but have recently discovered this gorgeous antique brass which I adore and plan to use alot more of in my future designs.

Golden Moments

The sun is shining, the birds are singing whilst the cat lies asleep on his back paws in the air! This glorious feeling of Spring has made me feel like digging out some of what I call my 'golden moments' or bright yellow flowers to be more precise. I think sunflowers are one of my all time favorites, their name alone makes me think of those long summer days that never seem to end.

Butterflies

I love, love, love butterflies, well you'd think so considering that I have a tattoo of one! Here's one of my favourite butterfly pics and some butterfly ear candy available now from my Folksy shop.

ZOO

Thought I'd blog about my last visit to the zoo as it was around this time last year. The beautiful weather this morning brought back memories as it was a beautiful day just like this, only trouble was my bloody camera died whilst we were there! Hope you enjoy these highlights.
